The funding round was led by Archetype Ventures and Winklevoss Capital, with participation from notable investors including Druid Ventures, Circle, Gemini, Legion Capital, Duke Capital Partners, and Balaji Srinivasan. Giovanni Vignone, the 22-year-old founder of Octane, previously dropped out of Duke University to address the pressing security challenges in the cryptocurrency sector. In a related development, Sekoia.io secured €26 million in Series B funding to enhance its cybersecurity capabilities, with investments coming from Revaia Capital and support from existing investors like Bpifrance and Omnes VC.
