Five, Including Three Women, Detained by Cicpc Across Venezuela in HV IJEX Cryptocurrency Scam

Venezuelan authorities have arrested five individuals, including three women and two men, in connection with an alleged cryptocurrency investment scam involving the platform HV IJEX Exchange. The detentions were made by the Cuerpo de Investigaciones Científicas, Penales y Criminalísticas (Cicpc) across several states in Venezuela. This investigation into the cryptocurrency fraud has been ongoing, leading to these recent arrests. Separately, authorities also apprehended criminals linked to kidnappings in the Metropolitan Region, where one case involved a ransom demand of $500 million.
