Between August 20 and August 22, 2025, Venezuela received multiple flights returning Venezuelan nationals from abroad as part of the government's Plan Vuelta a la Patria, a social program aimed at repatriating citizens affected by U.S. migration policies. On August 20, a flight arrived from Texas, United States, carrying 110 deported Venezuelans, including 102 men and 8 women. On August 21, two additional flights landed at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía: one from Bolivia with 59 Venezuelans, composed of 19 men, 20 women, and 20 children; and another from Mexico with 313 Venezuelans, including 108 women, 69 men, and 136 minors (61 boys and 75 girls). On August 22, another flight from the United States brought back 184 Venezuelans, among them 22 children (10 boys and 12 girls), 18 women, and 144 men. Since the restart of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria in February 2025, over 10,631 Venezuelan nationals have returned to the country. The Ministry of Interior, Justice and Peace has been actively reporting these arrivals, highlighting the ongoing repatriation efforts amid U.S. migration enforcement.
