Venezuela, led by President Nicolás Maduro and Attorney General Tarek William Saab, has strongly condemned what it describes as threats and defamation campaigns by the United States. The Venezuelan government, through the Republican Moral Council and the Comptroller General, denounced U.S. actions as attempts to destabilize the country and link Maduro to criminal networks. Officials stated that these threats not only affect Venezuela but also endanger peace and stability across the Latin American region. Maduro accused the U.S. of planning a "terrorist strike" and regime change, and called on Venezuelan militias to prepare in response to potential U.S. naval deployments in the Caribbean. Additionally, Venezuela criticized Guyana for acting as a proxy for U.S. and Exxon Mobil interests, accusing it of seeking to sow instability in the Caribbean and Latin America. The Venezuelan government reaffirmed its commitment to sovereignty and peace, emphasizing that Venezuela is an impregnable homeland and rejecting external interference. The Red of Intellectuals and Artists in Defense of Humanity also condemned U.S. aggression and demanded respect for regional sovereignty.
