Indie publisher Ysbryd Games has postponed the launch of tactical role-playing game Demonschool by more than two months, shifting the release from 3 September to 19 November 2025. The decision follows Team Cherry’s surprise announcement that long-awaited sequel Hollow Knight: Silksong will debut on 4 September, a day after Demonschool’s original slot. Ysbryd said in a statement that releasing “into waters we can clearly see are blood red” would risk burying the title amid a crowded early-autumn schedule. By moving to November, the company aims to give Demonschool “its own moment to be seen and talked about meaningfully.” Developer Necrosoft Games will use the extra time to fold planned post-launch content—additional endings and minigames—into the initial release. Ysbryd added that no further delays are expected and confirmed the game will ship on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
