Microsoft-owned Bethesda Softworks confirmed at Gamescom Opening Night Live that MachineGames’ action-adventure title “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” will arrive on Nintendo’s forthcoming Switch 2 console in 2026, making it the first Xbox first-party release formally slated for the platform. The publisher also unveiled the game’s first story expansion, “The Order of Giants,” which launches 4 September 2025 for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. A new trailer shows Indiana Jones teaming with the young priest Father Ricci to unearth the helmet of the Nameless Crusader beneath the catacombs of Rome. The base game debuted on Xbox and PC in December 2024 and expanded to PS5 in April, amassing more than four million players, according to Microsoft. The Switch 2 announcement underscores the company’s broader cross-platform strategy, with additional Xbox titles reportedly being prepared for Nintendo’s next-generation hardware.
