The U.S. Army has commenced production on the second wave of short-range reconnaissance drones to enhance tactical capabilities for soldiers. This initiative is part of a broader effort to integrate personnel, tactics, and technology to address the demands of modern warfare. Utah-based Teal Drones, with its Black Widow system, is one of the two selected vendors for manufacturing these drones. The small, easily transportable drones are designed to assist battlefield units in threat identification. Concurrently, the U.S. Space Force has launched the X-37B orbital test vehicle on a critical mission involving quantum technology. The space plane is conducting various tests, including laser communications demonstrations using proliferated commercial satellite networks in low Earth orbit.
