Elon Musk's xAI has enhanced its Grok AI chatbot with new vision and multilingual capabilities. Grok Vision allows the chatbot to analyze real-world objects in real-time using a smartphone's camera, providing instant information and context about what it sees. This feature, known as Grok Vision, is currently available on iOS devices, while Android users require a $30/month SuperGrok plan to access it. In addition to visual analysis, Grok now supports multilingual audio, enabling users to interact with the chatbot in over 145 languages, including Hindi. The chatbot also features a real-time search function in its voice mode, enhancing its interactive capabilities. OpenAI has expanded the usage limits for its ChatGPT Plus subscribers, doubling the weekly quota for the o3 model to 100 messages and increasing the daily limit for the o4-mini model to 300 messages. These changes aim to provide paid users with more access to advanced AI models. OpenAI has also introduced a lightweight version of deep research to its ChatGPT service, increasing the rate limits for Plus, Team, and Pro users. This version is now available to free users as well, with a monthly limit of 5 tasks. Plus and Team users receive 10 full tasks and an additional 15 lightweight tasks per month, while Pro users get 125 full and 125 lightweight tasks, and Enterprise users are allocated 10 full tasks per month.
