OpenAI's ChatGPT has surpassed 300 million weekly active users, according to CEO Sam Altman. The platform is experiencing significant growth, attributed in part to the launch of GPT-4. OpenAI also reported that ChatGPT receives approximately 1 billion messages daily and has 1.3 million developers in the U.S. building applications on its platform. The company aims to increase its active user base to 1 billion over the next year. This milestone positions ChatGPT as a leader in the AI space, following similar trends observed by other tech giants in the industry, including Meta and Anthropic, which have also engaged with the defense sector.
