PlayAI, an AI voice startup, has successfully raised $21 million in seed funding to enhance its voice cloning technology and develop its new product, PlayDialog. The funding round was co-led by Kindred Ventures and 500 Global. PlayAI offers a subscription service for voice cloning at $49 per month, allowing users to create human-like speech for various applications. The new PlayDialog tool aims to transform any file or website into an audio format, enabling users to listen to content rather than read it. This funding will support the scaling of PlayAI's conversational AI models and voice agent platform.
