The airdrop distribution allocates 9% of the total supply to users who earned Grass Points in the first phase, while 0.5% is designated for GigaBuds NFT owners and another 0.5% for users who installed the Desktop Node or the Saga app. This initiative is part of Grass's broader strategy to channel revenue from Web2 clients, including Fortune 500 companies and AI institutions, directly to Web3 users. The project is gaining attention within the decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) space, with comparisons being drawn to other projects like WeatherXM, which rewards weather station owners with its own token, $WXM.
