Elon Musk's xAI Launches Grok 2 AI Chatbot and Standalone Website for iOS Users, First in Australia

Elon Musk's xAI has launched the Grok 2 AI chatbot, now available as a standalone application for iOS users, eliminating the need for a subscription to the X platform. Initially rolled out in Australia, Grok is undergoing testing in various other countries to expand its accessibility beyond premium X users. The launch has sparked discussions regarding its capabilities, particularly its claims to diagnose medical issues, which have drawn criticism from Indian doctor Cyriac Abby Philips, raising concerns about the role of AI in healthcare.
