German actor and singer Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht was arrested on June 25, 2025, at Hamburg Airport based on a European arrest warrant issued by the Innsbruck public prosecutor's office. The arrest stemmed from allegations of serious fraud related to an unpaid hotel bill of approximately 14,000 euros from a stay in a Tirol hotel in late 2021, which included charges for overnight stays, cigarettes, and 16 bottles of champagne. Despite the hotelier receiving payment for the debt, reportedly from Ochsenknecht's ex-girlfriend Yeliz Koc, the actor remained in custody in Hamburg, facing possible extradition to Austria.
