Northamptonshire Police said they arrested three men, including 23-year-old YouTuber and Soccer Aid player Morgan “AngryGinge” Burtwistle, on suspicion of causing criminal damage to a classic BWT Racing Point Formula 1 car on display at Silverstone during British Grand Prix festivities. The force received a report on 4 July that the vehicle, part of a fan zone exhibit, had sustained damage valued at several thousand pounds—some media put the figure as high as £30,000—after individuals allegedly climbed into the cockpit. The men, aged 23, 25 and 27, were taken to Northampton Criminal Justice Centre for questioning. Following what police called “a thorough investigation,” all three were released with no further action. Burtwistle, who has 1.3 million Twitch followers and recently featured in Soccer Aid 2025, denies causing damage and says he merely sat in the car.
