Geely Auto reported a 264% surge in net profit for the first quarter of 2025, driven by record car sales and improved group-wide efficiency exceeding 5% following the merger with Zeekr. Zeekr experienced a 25% increase in vehicle sales, generating revenues of ¥22.02 billion, although this fell short of the estimated $3.03 billion. Lynk & Co delivered 72,608 vehicles during the period, with 52.4% of these coming from NEVS. Geely's chief executive highlighted that Zeekr's privatization is expected to save several billion RMB in research and development expenses.
