In Belgium, a man was filmed dragging his German Shepherd behind his car at approximately 80 km/h, resulting in the dog's death. The incident, captured on video, sparked outrage on social media, leading to the identification of the driver. Subsequently, vigilantes located his residence and set it on fire in what has been described as an attempted murder. Witnesses reported that the driver appeared to be laughing while dragging the dog by its leash. Similar cases of animal abuse have also been reported elsewhere, including in India and South Korea, where dogs were tied to vehicles and dragged, causing distress and death.
