Several organizations in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors have recently announced the completion of security audits and the initiation of competitive audit programs. Certora has collaborated with Balancer to audit and verify version 3 of its platform. Immunefi reported that $500,000 was awarded to security researchers during the Shardeum Ancillaries Audit Competition for identifying vulnerabilities, including malicious archivers and XSS-enabled node shutdowns. Additionally, a $250,000 reward pool is available for participants in the Stacks Attackathon, which has already seen 33 reports submitted. Other notable audits include the completion of a rollup contract audit for Payy by AuditOne, and Zokyo's comprehensive audit of ZeroLend, a decentralized liquidity protocol. Upcoming competitive audits are planned for BakerFi and Flex Perpetuals, with significant prizes for identifying high-severity vulnerabilities. Tally is set to launch an audit contest with a $30,000 prize pool from December 17th to 22nd. The focus on security reflects the industry's commitment to safeguarding customer data and transactions.
