
Fuel Labs has launched the Fuel Ignition rollup network on the Ethereum mainnet. This new supercharged Layer 2 solution aims to enhance Ethereum's scalability through parallelization and a UTXO-based model. QuickNode announced support for Fuel's testnet and mainnet, emphasizing advancements in state-minimized execution and interoperability. Fuel Ignition, which can be verified at home, has demonstrated a throughput of 21,000 transactions per second (21K tps) per core. Stake Capital and other validators are supporting the network, which has already seen over $25 million bridged to the mainnet, including assets like ezETH, USDC, and ETH.
