Kraken has launched its layer-2 blockchain, Ink, ahead of schedule. Built with Optimism's OP Stack, the project is backed by a $25 million OP token grant. This new blockchain aims to enhance interoperability, connecting to over 90 other blockchains. Additionally, Gravity Chain is set to upgrade from LayerZero to the Chainlink standard for improved cross-chain interoperability. Other notable developments include the launch of Sonic Labs' mainnet, which boasts over 10,000 transactions per second and sub-second finality, and the introduction of various decentralized applications (dApps) across multiple chains, including Vana, a blockchain focused on tokenizing personal data. These advancements highlight the ongoing evolution within the blockchain ecosystem, emphasizing the importance of cross-chain capabilities and scalability.
