Solana Optimistic Network, known as SOON, has successfully secured funding in a 'cobuilder' round without the involvement of venture capital firms. The funding round was backed by prominent figures such as Anatoly Yakovenko, co-founder of Solana, and Calily Liu, president of the Solana Foundation. The initiative is expected to enhance the performance of Layer 2 solutions on Ethereum and other Layer 1 blockchains.
