The Brazilian Federal Police (PF) has launched multiple operations targeting fraud and illegal activities. In Paraná, the PF's Operation Overprice uncovered fraudulent schemes in the Farmácia Popular program, where two pharmacies in Francisco Alves simulated sales and falsified data to divert over R$800,000 in public funds. Six search warrants were executed, and two suspects were arrested, with evidence including falsified medical documents and prescription pads. The suspects face charges such as criminal association, digital embezzlement, and document falsification. Separately, in Tocantins, the PF initiated Operation Pacto Concreto to investigate R$15 million in fraudulent contracts for pre-molded concrete for bridge construction. The operation included 12 search warrants and the suspension of two public officials. The investigation aims to gather evidence and dismantle the network involved in bid-rigging and misappropriation of public funds. In Bahia, the PF's Operation Baco targeted illegal wine trade, uncovering R$10 million in suspicious transactions and seizing 246 boxes of contraband wine. One individual was arrested. These operations highlight the PF's ongoing efforts to combat corruption and financial crimes across Brazil.
