The Civil Police apprehended a suspect involved in credit card cloning, resulting in losses exceeding R$ 200,000. Additionally, the Public Ministry of Rio de Janeiro (MPRJ) and the Federal Police (PF) arrested an individual accused of cyber fraud, who allegedly diverted R$ 14.7 million from a cryptocurrency exchange. Furthermore, 24 individuals were arrested for their involvement in a fraudulent loan scheme, known as the 'falso empréstimo', which has been a growing concern in the region.
