U.S. stocks experienced a slight decline at the end of the week, with the S&P 500 down 0.2%, the Nasdaq falling 0.5%, the Russell 2000 decreasing by 0.4%, and the Dow Jones dropping 0.5%. This downturn was influenced by concerns over potential additional tariffs from the U.S. market. In contrast, gold prices remained stable, trading at $2,861 per ounce. Meanwhile, the Brazilian Ibovespa index fell by 1.27% to 124,619 points, while the U.S. dollar rose by 0.52% to R$5.79. Notably, three of the top-performing stocks in Brazil included TOTS3, which rose by 2.69%, HAPV3 with a 2.64% increase, and FLRY3, up by 1.83%. Conversely, AMOB3 saw the largest decline, plummeting by 7.41%, followed by CSAN3 and RENT3, which fell by 6.14% and 6.11%, respectively. Internationally, major indices such as the DAX, FTSE, and Hang Seng showed mixed performance, with the DAX down 0.10% to 21,724 points and the FTSE up 0.04% to 8,692 points.
