A United States Air Force aircraft linked to the 150th Special Operations Squadron, known for transporting diplomats, military personnel, and CIA agents, landed in Porto Alegre, Brazil, without external identification. The unidentified military plane subsequently took off from Porto Alegre, flew over Curitiba and other regions in Brazil, and later landed at Guarulhos Airport. Brazilian Air Force authorities placed themselves on alert as the aircraft did not communicate with air traffic control upon arrival in Guarulhos. Federal Revenue agents inspected the aircraft at both Porto Alegre and Guarulhos airports. The mission of this CIA-associated plane remains undisclosed by U.S. authorities. Separately, a U.S. P-8 Poseidon aircraft was reported active over the coast of Venezuela.
