Hackers responsible for a series of disruptive and financially motivated cyberattacks against major UK retailers, including Marks & Spencer, the Co-op, and Harrods, are now targeting large American retail companies, according to Alphabet's Google. The Google Threat Intelligence Group has identified the ransomware group known as Scattered Spider as the perpetrators behind these attacks.
