A Norfolk-based group of six ticket touts has been convicted in a £6.5 million reselling scheme, following a trial at Leeds Crown Court. The convictions are linked to a 2016 Observer investigation into ticket touts and their associations with resale sites like Viagogo and StubHub. Six individuals, part of a family operation, were found guilty of fraud offences. Ed Sheeran's team has expressed approval of the verdicts, highlighting the exploitation of music fans' passion by these touts.
