A coordinated international law enforcement operation, dubbed 'Operation Nebulae,' has successfully dismantled one of the world's largest phishing-as-a-service platforms, LabHost. The operation, led by the UK Metropolitan Police with collaboration from 19 countries and agencies including Europol, NCA, City Police, and Europol, resulted in the arrest of 37 individuals globally. LabHost, which facilitated the creation of over 40,000 fake websites, is estimated to have targeted nearly 70,000 people in the UK and over 94,000 in Australia, causing significant financial and personal data loss. The disruption of LabHost, valued at £1m, marks a significant blow to cybercrime.
