FiscalNote (ticker: $NOTE) has announced an agreement to sell its non-core assets, Oxford Analytica and Dragonfly, to Dow Jones for $40 million. This transaction is part of FiscalNote's strategy to concentrate on its primary Policy platform. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2025 and aims to reduce FiscalNote's senior term loan while strengthening its balance sheet. Additionally, FiscalNote has engaged John Lee, the former Head of Federal Contracting at Palantir, to assist in implementing its AI and technology solutions to enhance government efficiencies.
