The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has reached an agreement with Invitation Homes, requiring the company to pay $48 million and address 'junk fee' practices. The agreement aims to stop certain other practices deemed unfair. Additionally, the Competition Bureau has obtained a court order to investigate the Canadian Real Estate Association's commission policies. In Missouri, John L. Scott and Real Estate One have settled an antitrust commission lawsuit. Separately, the Competition Bureau has secured a court order demanding information from Air Canada and WestJet.
