Actor Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi said on Thursday that they quietly adopted a baby girl earlier this summer, marking the first child for the couple. In a brief Instagram post, the pair wrote, “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy… And then there were 3.” They did not share the child’s name or further details, and representatives for both declined additional comment. Brown, best known for playing Eleven in Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” married Bongiovi in a private ceremony in May 2024 and held a second celebration in Tuscany four months later. The 21-year-old British actor had spoken publicly about her wish to start a family and her openness to adoption during a March appearance on the “Smartless” podcast. Bongiovi, 23, the son of rock musician Jon Bon Jovi, recently made his screen debut in the 2024 comedy “Rockbottom.” Brown is preparing for the November premiere of the fifth and final season of “Stranger Things” while continuing to develop film and business projects. The couple live in Georgia and said they hope to raise their daughter largely out of the public eye.
