Sophie Turner says shooting love scenes with former “Game of Thrones” co-star Kit Harington in the forthcoming gothic-horror picture “The Dreadful” left both actors physically nauseous. Turner told interviewers that when she reread the script she realised it called for “kiss, kiss, sex, kiss, sex” with the actor who had played her on-screen brother for nearly a decade, adding that the first take had them “retching” because the situation felt “really, really vile.” Turner serves as a producer on the Natasha Kermani–directed film, which reunites the pair for the first time since HBO’s fantasy series concluded in 2019. The British actress also recounted on NBC’s “Late Night With Seth Meyers” how a simple wave at an unnamed actor during a San Diego Comic-Con after-party about ten years ago unintentionally triggered the breakup of a high-profile engagement. According to Turner, the actor’s fiancée—also a well-known performer—accused her of flirting and ended the relationship that same night. “I didn’t realise I held this power,” Turner joked, adding that she still declines to identify the couple.
