The overhaul introduces a revamped search interface that supports natural language queries with input lengths exceeding 1,000 characters. It also incorporates chatbot-style generative AI responses and enables multi-modal search capabilities, including text, image, voice, and video queries. Additionally, Baidu unveiled MuseSteamer, an AI-driven image-to-video generator producing short clips aimed primarily at enterprise users. These developments position Baidu to better compete with emerging AI rivals such as DeepSeek and align its offerings more closely with global competitors like Google.
