According to recent analyses, the adoption of generative AI is rapidly increasing, with significant implications for various sectors. By 2027, it is estimated that generative AI will produce more IT support and knowledge-based articles than human workers. In China, the number of generative AI users reached 230 million by the end of June 2024, with Ernie Bot holding an 11.5% market share, ChatGPT at 7.8%, and Gemini at 3.8%. Deloitte's findings indicate that generative AI usage has more than doubled in the past year, with 38% of consumers using it for personal, work-related, and educational tasks. Notably, 83% of users who employ generative AI for work report increased productivity. Additionally, enterprise adoption of generative AI surged from 37% in 2023 to 72% in 2024, as companies integrate the technology for various applications including document editing, analytics, fraud detection, and innovation.
