Chinese distribution company Hishow has launched a new initiative, We Love Cinema, aimed at promoting prestige arthouse films in China. As part of this effort, Hishow has acquired the rights to screen Walter Salles' film 'I'm Still Here'. Additionally, the Brazilian film 'Ainda Estou Aqui', which recently won the Oscar for Best International Feature Film, is set to be showcased in Chinese theaters. The film has achieved over $36 million in worldwide box office revenue, further solidifying its international appeal. Alongside 'Ainda Estou Aqui', the classic Brazilian film 'Central do Brasil' will also be screened in China, following the acquisition of their exhibition rights by Hishow Entertainment.
