During a recent meeting in Brazil, Japan's Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki refrained from commenting on foreign exchange levels and movements. Suzuki, along with Japan's top currency diplomat Masato Kanda, emphasized their unwillingness to address current forex situations. In addition to forex discussions, Suzuki also spoke on topics such as Ukraine, artificial intelligence, and geopolitical divisions during the G-7 meeting. Kanda mentioned that G-7 finance leaders discussed China's excessive capacity but would not provide further details on that matter.
