'Magnificent 7' Tech Giants Now 2nd Largest Stock Market, Surpass G20 Profits
The 'Magnificent 7', a group of big tech companies including Apple, Amazon, and Meta, have seen their combined profits surpass those of almost all listed companies in nearly every G20 country. According to Deutsche Bank, these companies' combined market capitalization would rank them as the second largest stock market in the world, more than double that of Japan's market and four times as large as France's market. Their combined market cap and profits position them uniquely in the global economy, trailing only behind the markets of the US, China, and Japan, making them the 2nd largest stock market.
