Meanwhile, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Islamabad, emphasizing the unique and all-weather friendship between Pakistan and China that spans various fields. President Asif Ali Zardari expressed his commitment to advancing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and Gwadar Port projects during a meeting with Wang Yi. Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar stated Pakistan's readiness for comprehensive talks with India, including on the Kashmir issue, and is scheduled to undertake his first-ever bilateral visit to Bangladesh on August 23-24. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated the enduring nature of Pakistan-China relations and announced plans to visit China next week for the launch of CPEC Phase Two. The Chinese ambassador praised Pakistan's rapid development under Shehbaz Sharif's leadership. Additionally, Shehbaz Sharif declared a decision to elevate Balochistan's development to be on par with other provinces.
