US Treasury Secretary Sarah Bessent said the administration has not set dates for President Donald Trump to travel to China for a meeting with President Xi Jinping and does not expect such a summit to occur before the Labor Day holiday on 1 September. Bessent added that cybersecurity concerns, including the recent hack of Microsoft systems that Washington has attributed to China-based actors, will be on the agenda when the two leaders eventually meet.
