Joyy Inc., a Singapore-based technology company listed on NASDAQ, reported its unaudited financial results for the first quarter of 2025. The company recorded a 25.3% year-over-year increase in non-live streaming revenues, reaching $494.4 million. However, according to a financial report from the Chinese livestreaming firm, Joyy Group's overall revenues declined by 12% to just over $494 million. Despite the revenue drop, the company’s non-GAAP profit rose by 25% to $31 million compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, SQM, a leading global lithium producer, announced a net income of $137.5 million for Q1 2025, a turnaround from a loss of $869.5 million in the same period last year. Although SQM achieved record lithium sales volumes, its lithium revenue decreased. The company's performance has drawn attention to its impact on the lithium market.
