Lumentum Holdings reported fiscal fourth-quarter 2025 revenue of $480.7 million, a 55.9% year-on-year increase that exceeded Wall Street expectations of about $469 million. Non-GAAP earnings rose to $0.88 a share, beating the $0.81 consensus, while gross margin expanded ten percentage points to 37.8%. The optical-components maker said demand for its cloud products, particularly for artificial-intelligence data-center applications, drove the outperformance. The Cloud & Networking division generated $424.1 million, up 66.5% from a year earlier and accounting for more than 88% of total sales. Non-GAAP operating margin improved to 15.0% from a loss a year ago, helped by higher volumes and a richer product mix. Management said broad strength in components such as EML chips, pump lasers and 800-gigabit modules contributed to the gains. Looking ahead, the San Jose-based company forecast fiscal first-quarter 2026 revenue between $510 million and $540 million and non-GAAP earnings of $0.95 to $1.10 a share, both above analyst estimates. Chief Executive Officer Michael Hurlston added that sustained AI-related demand gives the company confidence it can surpass $600 million in quarterly revenue by June 2026.
