McDonald’s Corp. posted stronger-than-expected results for its fiscal second quarter of 2025, lifting revenue 5% from a year earlier to $6.84 billion and outpacing the $6.70 billion analysts had projected. Adjusted earnings per share rose 7% to $3.19, also beating the $3.15 consensus estimate, while reported EPS climbed to $3.14 from $2.80 a year ago. Comparable sales grew 3.8% worldwide, helped by a 2.5% gain in the United States, a 4.0% increase in International Operated Markets and a 5.6% rise in International Developmental Licensed Markets, all surpassing market expectations.
