Roper Technologies reported stronger-than-expected second-quarter results, with revenue rising 13% year on year to $1.94 billion and topping analystsโ estimates by about $10 million. Organic sales increased 7%, while recent acquisitions added a further 6%. Non-GAAP earnings per share came in at $4.87, $0.04 ahead of consensus, as GAAP net income climbed 12% to $378 million. Adjusted net income reached $528 million and adjusted EBITDA grew 12% to $775 million. Alongside the earnings release, the diversified technology company said it has agreed to buy a church-management software provider for about $800 million, deepening its portfolio of niche application software businesses. Management said the deal is expected to close in the second half of 2025 and to be immediately accretive to earnings. The twin announcements nudged the shares 1.8% higher in pre-market trading on 21 July and triggered a round of price-target increases. RBC Capital Markets lifted its target to $703, Baird to $687, Truist to $685 and JPMorgan to $577, with the majority of brokers reiterating bullish or positive ratings on the stock.
