
Zoho Corporation, led by CEO Sridhar Vembu, has announced several significant developments. The company experienced a 22% revenue growth in 2023 and is set to launch a new e-commerce seller app called Vikra on the ONDC marketplace. This app aims to facilitate small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in setting up online stores and selling products. Additionally, Zoho is expanding its infrastructure by setting up data centers globally, with the goal of covering all nations by the end of the decade. The company is also venturing into the semiconductor industry, having submitted an application for a semiconductor venture, which is currently under evaluation. Vembu mentioned that the company is preparing for a future where software and SaaS prices are expected to drop, and emphasized the importance of AI in transforming the SaaS industry. Zoho is also focusing on deploying large language models and expanding into smaller cities.
