A former top aide to New York City Mayor Eric Adams, Ingrid Lewis-Martin, has been indicted on new bribery charges, according to prosecutors in Manhattan. The charges allege that Lewis-Martin accepted more than $75,000 in bribes, including $10,000 worth of seafood, while serving as the mayor's chief adviser. She faces a second indictment related to corruption allegations that have been under investigation for two years. In total, seven individuals are facing new charges in the ongoing City Hall corruption probe. The indictments include four separate conspiracy counts and name eight other individuals. Lewis-Martin was seen arriving at Manhattan Criminal Court in handcuffs. The investigation continues to uncover alleged bribery schemes linked to City Hall officials.
