John Strand has been released from prison effective July 24th, following a Supreme Court ruling that the DOJ misused and inappropriately charged January 6 defendants with obstruction of an official proceeding. Strand's Motion for Release Pending Appeal was granted, and the order was issued by Obama judge Chris Cooper, who had initially sentenced Strand to 32 months in prison. However, Cooper is requiring Strand to serve 12 full months on four misdemeanor convictions.
