Sean Kingston, the rapper and singer, has been booked into Broward County jail in South Florida. He faces charges of committing more than $1 million in fraud alongside his mother. Kingston was arrested last month at Fort Irwin, an Army training base in California's Mojave Desert, where he was performing. He waived his right to fight extradition and was subsequently transferred to Florida. His bond is set at $100,000. Kingston is expected to face a judge soon. He also faces grand theft charges, and the fraud is described as an elaborate scheme.
