The Department of Justice (DOJ) has reported record-high numbers of settlements, judgments, and civil investigative demands in FY 2023, particularly focusing on healthcare. Additionally, there has been a notable increase in SEC accounting and auditing enforcement activities in the fourth quarter of FY 2023. The DOJ has also highlighted the significance of PPP and pandemic fraud recoveries in FY 2023.
