
A Denver woman, Tiffany Vo, 37, was sentenced to a year and a day in prison for defrauding Amazon of over $483,000. Vo pleaded guilty earlier this year to one count of wire fraud for a reimbursement scheme, according to the U.S. District Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado. From around the summer of 2020 through at least June 2022, she created fake invoices and expense reports for goods and services she did not actually buy to obtain reimbursement money from Amazon. In addition to her prison sentence, Vo was ordered to pay $483,393.58 in restitution and will undergo three years of supervised release following her imprisonment.
