BlackRock and Fidelity Investments have significantly impacted the cryptocurrency market by capturing 79% of total inflows into new spot Bitcoin ETFs. Together, they now hold 269,417 BTC, valued at over $17.8 billion. BlackRock has also filed with the SEC to purchase Bitcoin ETFs for its Strategic Income Opportunities Fund, which has assets under management (AUM) worth approximately $36.5 billion.
