Blackrock has filed with the SEC for a tokenized fund named 'BUIDL', which aims to provide a stable value of $1 per token and offer daily accrued dividends directly to investors' wallets as new tokens each month. The fund will issue a stablecoin $BUIDL, backed by U.S. Treasury bills and repurchase agreements, enabling daily yield to holders. Blackrock has partnered with Coinbase and @Securitize Tokenized Investment Fund as key infrastructure providers for this initiative. The BUIDL token will be a yield-bearing stablecoin on Ethereum, marking a significant step in the adoption of tokenized securities and providing qualified investors the opportunity to earn U.S. dollar yields on-chain.
